Welcome to Rhemedy by Rhed Therapeutic Massage, a holistic wellness community!
Ease into serenity and nourishment for your body for a relaxing massage… or actively commit to a fitness regiment for specific chronic stress tension. Indulge in a long overdue pampering massage for 2 hours or plan time-efficient weekly 30 minute sessions for fine tuning musculo-skeletal issues. Our promise is to give you therapeutic results to relax, reboot, and re-energize your senses. Take care in yourself and we will take care of you! Our products, derived from botanical and organic sources, supplement our fine-tuned techniques learned from many prestigious spas and PT practices in NYC.
Massage therapist and staff of Rhemedy by Rhed Therapeutic Massage focus on providing you the best customer care driven services. Our space is within a floor of other mindful counselors of reiki master, yoga instructor, chiropractor, naturopathic doctor/acupuncturist for convenience of care and we all will strive towards intimate grassroots care for all our clients. There is always a moment to discuss your individualistic needs and questions for the day either by phone or email. Our front desk coordinators are now here to ease the flow of reserving appointments and recommend the therapists for you. Continued relationships foster health within your body and mind and spirit as well as our local health-provider presence.
We are peacefully located on the prettiest block in NYC… with tree-lined sidewalks, Jackson Square, healthful Integral Yoga Institute and organic food store, on the junction of West Village and Meatpacking District. Our sub-level cozy and comforting space is like coming home without the NYC sound bites. You can grab a smoothie, hangout in our back garden, then rest your day into one of our skilled massage therapist’s hands..and then let the flicker of the candle lights allow you focus inward and within your own home of body and breath.
Our hand picked supplemental retail lines are inspired by nature: natural bodycare products from JustBe Skinline, SoapRocks, SpaRitual, Mana Oil salves from Big Island HI, essential oils and products by Mountainrose Herbs and candles by Voluspa. If that does not satisfy your holistic retail therapy, Integral Yoga Natural Apothecary is just located above us and across the street is Enfleurage, specialty aromatic apothecary.
My very Best,
Judie Rhed Yim, LMT | Lead Therapist | Proprietor
“My core belief in bodywork is to promote complete relaxation for each client, modality, and session. Our body has an amazing self-healing system, which benefits from relaxing, nurturing, self-focused rituals like massage sessions. Within relaxation, the body opts to regenerate, renew, and re-energize as well as release holding patterns which perpetuate tensions.”
Graduated from legendary 1000+hours curriculum at the Swedish Institute in NYC 2005, Judie has continued her bodywork education: 100 hours ARCB accredited Reflexology course; Mastery Medical Massage courses with Janine Strenta; 100 hours Lotus Palm Thai Yoga certification in Montreal; Reiki I & II attunements; Osteo Thai Massage certification with Dr David Lutz from France; Craniosacral Biodynamics and CranioSomatics with Dr Hancock; TheraCupping and LymphaticBalancing course with Beth Ellen Zang; certification of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Lymphedema with Michael Alatriste; and most recently Lymphatic Drainage Therapy Level Three with The Chikly Institute. Her experience comes from working with variety of body types: from injury rehabilitation and chronic pain patients to Olympic swimmers to entertainment celebrities as clients. Her unique sessions can incorporate rhythmical deep tissue massage, Shiatsu points, Thai Yoga Massage stretching, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, and Cranio Sacral Biodynamic to help the receiver deeply breath, open, unwind, and harness inner healing wisdom. The thirteen years as an ever learning yoga practitioner with highly respected teachers has taught her strength, finesse & agility; as well, her background of many hours in high-end spas and design firm have taught her the definition of “anticipated unique service” for all visitors.
Rhemedy By Rhed Therapeutic Massage was founded by Judie in 2007 and she is grateful for the continued support of her local NYC clients to help expand the practice.
