These therapists base their techniques on little oil or no oil on belly and soft tissue release to release fascial adhesions. Minimal oil may be used for belly of the muscle work as well as pin and stretch techniques. 30min session is a good introduction to assess postural imbalances and address very specific regions.For those with chronic pain management issues stemming from structural misalignment, persistent overuse, and general proclivity towards deep fasciae releases or Rolfing sessions. Communication throughout session is needed by the client and not recommended to “tune out.” This can be an intense bodywork and is not for relaxation purposes. No oil/lotion is used and clients are required to bring their own sport bras, shorts, or briefs as range of motion, pin & stretch techniques are used..
