About Guillerma

Grace’s journey into massage therapy began with years as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) after earning a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Her primary focus during this time was on trauma, abuse, and addiction recovery. However, her own personal wellness journey took a transformative turn when she embraced daily self-care practices, including meditation, yoga, and mindful movement. Recognizing the profound impact these practices had on her, she made a bold decision to transition from social work to holistic healing through massage therapy.

Grace’s commitment to her craft led her to become a proud graduate of the Swedish Institute in 2014. She further expanded her certification education by obtaining Perinatal, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C), and (MLD-PST) certifications for post-operative care. As a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), she remains dedicated to continuous education and professional development in the field of therapeutic bodywork.

Her massage therapy sessions are designed to restore energy, alleviate tension, and promote relaxation. She employs a combination of well-integrated techniques that are tailored to each client’s unique wellness goals. Her approach involves active listening, thorough assessment, the creation of personalized treatment plans, and concludes with education and self-care guidance to take home. Grace firmly believes that small, consistent acts of self-care—such as a five-minute breathing exercise, a daily walk, or setting personal boundaries—can have a profound impact on overall health and well-being. She advocates for prioritizing self-care to enable individuals to fully engage in their work, family life, and overall quality of life.
